Fernando Juarez is currently an associate at Cacheaux Cavazos & Newton, L.L.P., where he specializes in tax litigation and corporate and cross-border tax planning. In addition, he specializes in anti-money laundering compliance and audits and is a Certified Auditor in anti-money laundering by the Mexican National Banking and Stock Commission (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores or CNBV for its Spanish acronym).

Fernando has advised several international companies on tax planning and litigation. His experience includes advising companies in the automotive, manufacturing, banking and pharmaceutical sectors. Fernando frequently writes for tax law publications such as Puntos Finos (Thomson Reuters) and the Mexican Bar Association in Nuevo Leon. He is a graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City, Mexico where he graduated with honors.
