Abigail Maya has been an associate at CCN since 2017. Her practice centers on Mexico corporate, real estate, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, finance, and energy law.
She currently advises clients doing business in Mexico on various industries such as agribusiness and automotive, and actively participates in projects such as corporate restructuring, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, audits and anticorruption and money laundering compliance, industrial building leasing and the acquisition of agricultural land in Mexico by foreign investors, and development of wind and solar energy projects in Mexico.
Her previous experience as internal counsel for Mexico and Latin America for an international company with a presence in over 79 countries allows her to currently act as external legal counsel to numerous international companies in Mexico’s agricultural and automotive sectors, among others, working closely with the legal and compliance departments of our clients with respect to their day-to-day legal needs.
