On June 3, 2025, the “DECREE subjecting the indicated goods to the requirement of an automatic export notice” (the “Decree”) was published in the Official Journal of the Federation. The Decree will enter into force the day after its publication and establishes a new requirement to submit an automatic export notice for goods classified under the following tariff classifications:

Any product that falls under these tariff classifications will be subject to the automatic export notice requirement.
Pursuant to the Decree, in order to obtain such notice, a request must be submitted for each export bill of lading by email to aviso.exportacion@economia.gob.mx, including a free-form letter and an Excel spreadsheet, which will be published by the Secretary of the Economy.
The Secretary of the Economy will have 10 business days to respond and issue the automatic export notice by tariff classification, starting from the date the request is submitted.
